Rollercoaster Crashed

Alton Towers' Runaway Mine Train ride is closed due to a rollercoaster crash that occurred at the theme park. The investigators continue in search for the cause of the rollercoaster crash which caused the injuries of twenty-nine people.

According to Staffordshire theme park's spokesperson they were unclear as to when the ride would re-open. He also stated that the health and safety of theme park's guests is their primary objective. The ride has been closed and will remain so whilst a thorough investigation is carried out.

the crash happened when the front carriage of the rollercoaster became separated from the rest of the ride and rolled back into the rest of the carriages.

two of the twenty-nine injured were taken by air ambulance and four others were treated to hospital after the crash, while the rest were treated for cuts and bruises.
