A charity poker tournament will be held at Cullman County on Saturday, starting at noon. The Texas Holdem tournament is organized by the Bar Association. The money will be donated to American Cancer Society programs. The tournament will take place in the Family Life Center at Sacred Heart Church.
The Bar Association is organizing Relay for Life event, which is designated to celebrate the lives of people who survived cancer and to raise money for cancer researches. Relay for Life event will take place on May 12. The organizers are trying to raise additional money by holding the Texas Holdem tournament on Saturday.
The entry fee to the poker tournament is a 100 dollars donation Bar, which will include lunch and a t-shirt. The winner will take home a 42 inch television, while the second runner will receive a 27 inch television.
