One of the biggest online poker tournament sites in the online poker industry, PokerStars.com, will sponsor Aston Martin Racing for a second season of races in America and in Europe. According to the agreement, two of Aston Martins racecars will carry PokerStars.com logos on them.
PokerStars.com and Aston Martin Racing first collaboration took place during last March races at Sebring, Florida. The two DBR9 racecars branded with PokerStars will participate in the second of American Le Mans Series, which will take place in Houston, Texas. Other races are expected to take place the UK and in France in the upcoming season. The collaboration includes a show car to appear at the World Series of Poker event in Las Vegas. In addition, PokerStars.com online poker players will be offered an opportunity to take part in car races.
The two DBR9 cars to be racing at the Houston American Le Mans Series race will be numbered 007 and 009. The 007 racecar will be driven by Tomas Enge from the Czech Republic and Darren Turner from the UK, while the 009 racecar by Pedro Lamy from Portugal and Stephane Sarrazin from France.
