The Las Vegas based gaming company Ameristar Casinos announced Wednesday the appointment of John M. Boushy as the company president. Boushy would serve as the company president from August 31, 2006. Its fields of responsibility would include the company finance, human resources, marketing, information technology, food and beverage, administration, communications and entertainment.
John M. Boushy had served at Harrahs Entertainment in variety of executive positions. His last job was Harrahs Executive Vice President, Project Development, Design and Construction. Boushy had been working for Harrahs since 1979. He was responsible for inventing the Total Rewards, which was the first technology to support casino customers loyalty program.
Las Vegas based Ameristar Casinos Inc is one of the leading gaming and entertainment companies in the United States. The company was founded in 1954 in Jackpot, Nevada and it became a public company in 1993. Ameristar owns and operates seven casinos is six states including in St. Louis, Iowa, Mississippi, Louisiana and Jackpot, Nevada.
