Governor Jon Corzine wants to postpone the decision to ban smoking in casinos in New Jersey. According to Corzine, he wishes to learn about the plan affect on southern New Jersey economics before he makes any decision in the subject.
State lawmakers suggested legislation that will enforce ban smoking on casino gaming floors. Casinos are now the only indoors spaces where smoking is allowed. Corzine said this decision might harm Atlantic City casino capability to compete with the global gambling industry.
