A Chinese gambling gang has been found guilty of swindling around 1 million dollars from Conrad Jupiter Casino. Now, high-rollers have to face fraud charges in court. In all, six Chinese syndicates have been charged of committing fraud at the mini baccarat tables of Conrad Jupiter Casino. This mini baccarat room is the high-rollers place at the casino. Last spring, when they were at the Gold Coast airport carrying their winnings they were caught by police officials. The people charged with fraud in this case are: Iberahim Abbas, 55, Weishan Lui, 44, Jianwen Lui, 38, Waibin Shao, 38, Songtao Zhao, 34, and Zhigang Lui, 34. When they were arrested they had casino playing cards with them, stated the police in court.
Southport Magistrates Court showed yesterday a security recording of Conrad Jupiter Casino, where everyone could see how the alleged were hiding two cards under their palm during the hand and gradually dealing them on the table. The cards were not good for the dealer, which allowed three players to cash almost 1 million dollars.
