The 6th annual Celebrity Impersonators Convention will be held at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino between Sunday, May 28 and Wednesday, May 31. Between 75 and 125 celebrity impersonators will participate in the upcoming convention.
The 2006 Celebrity Impersonators Convention will include impersonators of Paris Hilton and Angelina Jolie for the first time, in addition to impersonators of Elizabeth Taylor, Jay Leno and Barbara Streisand, political leaders George W. Bush and Hillary Clinton amongst others.
The Celebrity Impersonators Convention ends on Tuesday, May 30 with the CIC talent showcase and brunch from noon to 2 pm with the participation of agents and talent buyers. Tickets for the talent show available for 15 dollars and will be on sale from Monday, May 15.
According to Elyse Del Francia-Goodwin, founder and organizer of CIC, the talent showcase is the pick of the convention. In 2005 convention, the Dean Martin impersonator Michael Coldiron appeared at the talent showcase and was crowded by talent agents by the end of his performance.
