Gambling problems were discussed the last week in Almaty, capital city of Kazakhstan. Almaty city hall has forwarded its gambling industry bill to the government. The bill is aimed to protect clients of gambling houses. It prohibits the gambling houses to offer free alcohol and insists on installing video cameras on each table and to store records, so they can be used in case of dispute from the part of the client.
Rinat Shamsutdinov , the deputy Almaty mayor, spoke this Tuesday to the representatives of the Students Public Committee. In his speech, Rinat Shamsutdinov claimed that gambling industry is immortal by its nature and will survive any kind of limitations.
Almaty city hall also works on moving all gambling houses outside the city line.
