Merced Police arrested 3 people on illegal gambling. The two women and a man were suspected of running an illegal gambling operation also involved narcotics paid offs.
Cho Vang, 28, Raquel Zarate, 24, and Gloria Molina, 25, were arrested late on Monday night on suspicion of being occupied in illegal gambling, said police Cmdr. Tom Martin.
The police was informed about the house illegal gambling activity involved in meth usage. Police officers kept the house under inspection. When they noticed activity in the house, they tried to talk to a man who stood outside the house. When he escaped them, the other police officers noticed a number of people jumping over a fence in trying to escape from the house.
The three suspects were held by police officers while they were trying to escape. All the three had cash and dice in his pockets. Vang told police he and 10 others were playing dice and poker. They were all arrested on suspicion of illegal gambling and were released on bail.
